Hinojos is a beautiful white village that belongs to the province of Huelva.
The village has a population of around 3700 inhabitants and the district comprises 31900 ha,
of which 11000ha are within the Doñana National Park and another 13300ha within the Doñana Natural Park.
Located in Huelva’s south eastern part, Hinojos is 60 km. from the provincial capital, and 40 km. from Seville.
Pine forests, which contain large recreational areas, surround the town and includes a delightful public open
air bar-café beneath the pines trees. There is a large number of bars and restaurants in the village that offer
the typical gastronomy of the area and are the delight of the visitors
Hinojos also has the modern Doñana National Park Visitors Centre, “Los Centenales", where the visitor can
find the most up to date tourist information about the park as well as audiovisuals about the diverse ecosystems
present in this unique part of Europe.
